Gratitude Diary

During my challenging times, I have read many tips on stress management and anxiety control. One of the recommended tips is to write a gratitude diary.I tried it for days, weeks, months and it worked.Basically the practice is , despite the ups and downs of life that we face everyday, to feel grateful to the creator, Allah. It's okay to feel that some hopes are left unfulfilled, some ambitions not achieved, some goals not met, but the most important thing is that, despite all those, there are some good things around you.A cup of good coffee for coffee lovers, a slice of your favourite Swiss roll, and some nice and kind things that happened to you should be thankful for. After all, life is so short for you to regret on anything that is not worth remembering and regretting right? Writing a gratitude diary is a good exercise for you not to compare yourself with others especially who have more material things more than you do.If you still want to compare yourself with others, compare with those who are at par with you or those who are more unfortunate than you.Grass may be greener on the other side, but you never know?Cheers.Bon soir!
